The deadman
No one does a deadman quite as well as me hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. In south africa now but yet to get some pictures. The real south african wind isn't with us, but still I have been on the water 2 out of 2 days which is all I can ask for.

Hey Jo, nice pic! Was considering about a trip to south africa in february, is the wind really that bad? Regards Silvester
hey silvester ive been here for less then a week. the wind so far hasnt been the best, but the forecast looks wicked and I have been out everyday except one. Sometimes the season kicks in late, so i shouldnt worry. if you come, im sure you'll get more then enough wind... plus there is loads of other stuff to do - great beaches, cable toe when no wind, huge shops, great places to eat, cool people, table mountain etc etc. perhaps see you here next month :-)
I started Kitesurfing with the shop Funsport in Rhosneigr, North Wales while I was at University in Bangor! That was in 2002. I finished my degree in Zoology and Animal Ecology and then took a year out to go travelling and improve my kitesurfing. It took me a while to learn how to get up and going on a kite - 2 months. It takes most people 2 weeks but once I had that mastered it was quite quick that I learned some moves. I started competing a year later and finished 4th in the British Championships. I since became sponsored and then won the British Championships for two years in a row. In 2006 I competed for the first time on the entire world circuit and I finished 4th overall. My best result of the year was 2nd. In 2010 I came 2nd in the PKRA World Tour in Morocco which is the last competition I entered. Now I focus on creating magazine content and short movies for the internet. I have also set up a business in Kitesurfing Coaching Holidays helping others to improve their level.
